How Bing Rewards Works

  • How does it work?Sign up for the Bing Rewards Preview, take advantage of offers to earn credits and then redeem those credits for rewards. Once you have enough credits to redeem for a reward, access the Redemption Center to select from a wide variety of rewards. Shipping is free!
  • How easy it is to sign up?It’s simple. Download the Bing Bar, sign in using your Windows Live ID (or get one if you don’t already have one) and complete the easy registration process. No forms — you’ll give us your shipping info later when you order your rewards.
  • Do I need to buy anything to join the Bing Rewards Preview? No. When it’s time to redeem your credits, your reward merchandise will be shipped at no charge. However, we can only ship to addresses within the 50 United States (includes D.C.). We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military APO or FPO addresses.
  • Why do I need a Windows Live ID?Your Windows Live ID is required for participation in the Bing Rewards Preview. Information related to your participation in the Bing Rewards Preview, including the number of searches you do, is stored in connection with your Windows Live ID.
  • How many credits do I need to get a reward? You can select from a wide range of rewards with some starting at less than 250 credits. Get started earning credits today — you’ll get 250 credits* just for joining! *Limit one 250 credit bonus per person and per computer.
  • How do I get my reward? It’s easy. Once you’ve accumulated enough credits, make your choice in the Redemption Center, provide your shipping info and we’ll send it to you. Shipping is free!
  • Why do I need the Bing Bar? The Bing Bar keeps track of your total credits on the Reward Counter button. Clicking the button allows you to view your available credit balance, redeem your credits, see a list of current offers to earn credits and access the Redemption Center.
  • Already have the Bing Bar? If you already have the Bing Bar, click the “Sign up” button when prompted. Click the “Download Bing Bar” button if you see it — your Bing Bar may need to be updated. See the Frequently Asked Questions for more help.
  • I am already a Bing Rewards member, but I need to install the toolbar. How do I do that? If you are already a Bing Rewards member, but need to download the Bing Bar, visit bing.com/rewards and begin the sign-up process. Follow the steps to download the Bing Bar. Complete the process when you sign in with your Windows Live ID you used to sign up for Bing Rewards previously.
  • What does the Reward Counter in my Bing Bar do? The Reward Counter works with the other parts of the Bing Bar to tally your reward activity and display your available credits for redemption. Click it to see your account summary, navigate to the Redemption Center or go to Frequently Asked Questions. It also alerts you about current offers to earn more credits.
  • How will I know I’m getting credits? Your Reward Counter will climb as you earn credits by taking advantage of current offers.
